Modern housing with a natural touch

Along the Sotaweg in Roelofarendsveen, a remarkable new-build project has recently been completed. For our client Carpentier Mooren, installation specialist Montagebedrijf Berry delivered high-quality housing. The project is the perfect example of how steel has become a reference material for anyone seeking to combine aesthetics with functionality.

The most striking element is the façade cladding. Instead of traditional wood, a low-maintenance steel solution with a natural appearance was chosen. The result is a modern building with a refined and durable façade finish, while still offering a warm and welcoming look.

For the façade cladding, several variants of the JI Sonora Vario were used - ridged profile with visible fix that gives the façade a playful, rhythmic character. The Vario models offer designers a great deal of freedom: by varying the wave size and number of corrugations, the architect can define the final look. This demonstrates how versatile steel is and how easily it can be shaped to fit the desired architectural style.

The technical department of Joris Ide calculates every project tailor-made, integrating both the technical requirements and the creative concept. This results in a long-lasting and visually appealing façade system that aligns perfectly with the client’s needs.
