Planet Passionate week
Planet Passionate Actions
From 22 to 26 September 2025, we celebrated another inspiring Planet Passionate Week - a week filled with meaningful actions, hands-on learning and moments that brought our teams closer together in support of a more sustainable future.
Each day featured a green activity to highlight our sustainability journey and celebrate the progress we've made so far. The atmosphere was energetic, positive and truly Planet Passionate. Some of the actions included:
- Workshops & Webinars
Throughout the week, employees took part in a variety of workshops and webinars designed to spark new ideas and encourage more sustainable habits. These included sessions on healthy eating, wellbeing, physical activity, and creating your own natural care products. - Team challenges & activities
From our sustainability-themed Bingo challenge to the exciting “Unlock the Future” Escape Room, teams worked together to test their knowledge, complete actions and strengthen their sustainability mindset - all while having fun. - Clean-up actions
Colleagues rolled up their sleeves and joined forces to clean up our company grounds and surrounding areas. Different sites organised their own clean-up moments, contributing to a cleaner environment. - Outdoor & family activities
We enjoyed moments in nature as well, including an outdoor lunch gathering and a family forest walk guided by Bosgroepen.
Plant Action
Planet Passionate Actions
In February 2024, together with many colleagues and their families, we planted trees in Zedelgem! The new forest, located in a Natura 2000 area, covers 1,3 hectares. A mix of native trees such as poplars, willows, black alders, rowan trees, alder buckthorn, and hazel trees was planted — nearly 2 800 trees in total — benefiting the natural environment. After the hard work, we enjoyed a relaxing walk and a warm treat. It was a great moment to be together, share experiences, and recharge for our Planet Passionate mission. The planting was guided by Bosgroep Houtland, who will also support the landowner in managing the forest. This way, the planting will have every chance to grow into a valuable, biodiverse, and climate-resilient forest.
Litter actions
Planet Passionate Actions
Over the past years, several litter clean-up actions have been organised, including in Belgium and France. For example, an action was held together with GPTW to clean up litter in Hille and Akkerstraat. Enthusiastic employees also organised clean-up events at the French sites JI Nord, JI Est, JI Sud-Ouest, JI Bretagne, JI Atlantique, and Auvergne.
Beach Clean-up
Planet Passionate Actions
On Sept. 9, 2023, a group of enthusiastic employees and family members set out to clean up the beach at Wenduine, preventing waste from entering the North Sea.
