Low carbon insulated panels
The Low Carbon by Joris Ide range has been developed to help reduce the embodied carbon of your building without compromising on technical performance, quality or design.
By choosing low-carbon steel that contains less embodied carbon and has a higher proportion of recycled materials, our Low Carbon insulated panels offer a significantly reduced carbon footprint compared with their standard equivalents.
For a 100 mm reference thickness, our verified EPD data shows:
- At least 30% lower embodied carbon for the JI Vulcasteel Low Carbon range.*
- At least 35% lower embodied carbon for the main JI PIR Low Carbon range.*
*Reductions are based on cradle-to-gate stages A1–A3 and verified EPDs. Results vary for certain products and thicknesses.
