As urban areas grow and the climate warms, responsible water management is becoming increasingly important. At Joris Ide, we are working to reduce our reliance on mains water by increasing rainwater collection across our sites.

Our target is to collect 3.9 million litres of rainwater annually by 2030, helping to reduce mains water consumption and stormwater runoff.

In 2025, the Joris Ide Division collected 2.8 million litres of rainwater. In 2025, across the Division, 16 rainwater systems are currently in use, with the largest installation in Hille collecting up to 1.2 million litres per year.

Rainwater use will increase further in 2026 following new projects completed in Loisy-sur-Marne and Tomaszów.
