Water

Planet Passionate

As urban areas continue to grow and the planet warms, managing our water resources more effectively has become urgent. To do our part, we are working on reducing water use at our sites. Our goal is to collect 3,4 million litres of rainwater annually by 2030. This will help reduce mains water usage, stormwater runoff, and improve the quality of local waterways.

In 2024, the Joris Ide division already collected 2,9 million litres of rainwater. Across the division, 14 rainwater tanks are currently in use, with the largest capacity in Hille, capturing 800 000 litres per year. Our total rainwater use will increase further this year thanks to additional rainwater projects to be completed in 2025, such as in Loisy-sur-Marne.
